Unison in Industries brings together job seekers, employers, service providers, and venders to expand employment opportunities for individuals with barriers to employment. For-Profit businesses, community organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies unite to stimulate the economy and to build relationships in the greater bay area to promote job opportunities and to provide transition options to underserved populations, such as individuals with disabilities. For the first time in almost 20 years, the Unison in Industries (U in I) conference aims to unite the forces of the North Bay, East Bay, and South Bay to serve the community. Almost two decades since the last mass collaborative employment focused conference, the community unites again to serve businesses and job seekers alike.
