This position is located at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego and is assigned to the Physical/Occupational Therapy Department.
* Obtains and correctly assembles health records.
* Answers clinic telephones, greets patients, answers patient's questions not related to diagnosis and treatment.
* Receives and directs all incoming patient telephone calls to the appropriate individual for further assistance.
* Schedules all categories of appointments for patients who call or walk in for an appointment,
* Routes consultation forms to the appropriate provider or service.

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: 4 years above high school.
