As an Account Executive, you'll serve as the lead consultant for existing clients in managing all account activities and renewals.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and execute client casualty strategy to best leverage WS offerings including analytics, placement, claims consulting, and loss control support.
  • Manage complex casualty account renewals, coordinate process with clients and producers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key client contacts, proactively engage the client in the value being delivered to facilitate long-term client retention
  • Identify opportunities to expand coverage for existing clients
  • Maintain specific industry knowledge and technical expertise to serve as a proactive resource to clients and the account team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal decision-makers and C-suite influencers
  • Own the direct management of existing client relationships through quarterly touchpoints
  • Own the development and execution of client account strategy
  • Own presentations to clients during the renewal process
  • Support Account Managers in developing specifications, securing underwriting information, analyzing existing coverages and making coverage comparisons
  • Support the mentoring and training of account service team
  • Inform practice leadership of existing client relationship status and escalates issues as needed
  • Inform Producers and colleagues from other practices of ongoing client status, renewals and opportunities to expand existing accounts with new coverages and innovative program solutions

This job is for you if...

  • You are skilled at analyzing and deploying risk financing strategies including large deductibles, qualified self insurance, captives
  • You have deep experience in building excess casualty towers for large organizations
  • You enjoy collaborating with actuaries, data scientists and risk modelers to execute client analytics projects and design new analytical tools
  • You are adept at analyzing companies' financial information as part of developing cost and capital-efficient risk financing strategies
  • You posses deep understanding of casualty policy forms, and are experienced in negotiating optimal coverage terms and crafting manuscript policy wording
  • You cultivate a strong network of casualty underwriting contacts
  • You are intellectually curious and enjoy researching emerging liability exposures
  • You proactively and effectively service clients to assure needs, timelines and expectations are met, including active participation in team and client meetings either directly or via phone.
  • You can clearly read and interpret information for clients and colleagues both verbally and in writing.
  • You build relationships and interact in a tactful and professional manner in a fast-paced, customer centric environment; remain calm under pressure.
  • You proactively overcome barriers and find acceptable solutions to client issues.
  • You can coach, develop, and manage casualty team members and colleagues from other practices; serve as a positive role model; help foster camaraderie within the Practice
  • You assist in developing and driving the team strategy related to client service and team skills development
  • You are able to travel by car and plane to visit clients and insurers as needed

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience
  • College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex client issues
  • Strong technical skills, including broad understanding of insurance coverages and solutions
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills

More About Us:

Compensation: Anticipated salary between $126,644.00 - $211,073.00. Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate.

This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation with a target equivalent to 12% of salary annually, based on individual and Company performance.
