JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for all incoming and outgoing diagnostic casts.
* Reviews orthodontic dental casts and prepare for scanning.
* Quality check scanned casts.
* Data enter information related to diagnostic casts.
* Prepare diagnostic casts for storage and disposal.
* Complete tasks, assignments, and defined processes independently.
* Comply with contract requirements, business unit rules and related industry and legal regulations.
* Manage and track dental models.
* Reviews orthodontic dental casts, increase the efficiency of professional review by performing administrative tasks required before routing the document for professional review.
- Graduate from an accredited dental assistant school, or two (2) years of prior experience working in a dental office as a paraprofessional (dental assistant, registered dental assistant, registered dental hygienist, etc.).
- Two (2) years prior experience in a dental billing and claims processing environment preferred.
- Pass 10 key test by Key 5,000 kph with limited errors.
