Job Description
The Regional BD Manager is responsible for sustaining and growing new business and to assess and appraise the sales method and systems to augment company sales goals. The ideal candidate will have experience with Heavy Equipment Manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides quarterly customer forecasts, with monthly updates. Immediate updates when there is a change - positive or negative.
  • Manage and support all activities related to the regions assigned customers and interface with departments such as Marketing, Customer Services, Quality, Manufacturing, Business Development Managers, and Engineering team.
  • Assures timely execution and communication of project, product, and relationship issues with assigned customer(s).
  • Provides weekly or monthly progress reports as needed on project implementation.
  • Responsible for accurate, timely departmental paperwork submittals,
  • Negotiates piece part pricing on new products and pricing revisions as applicable.
  • Brings new ideas for the company to consider.
  • Documents the latest trends in lighting/electrical systems.
  • Anticipates the market needs and stays ahead of the competition.
  • Provides on-site representation for new vehicle launches, performance concerns, etc.
  • Persistently seeking new growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrating a high level of support and expertise in providing product solutionsfor the customer
  • Managing the pipeline of sales opportunities for the assigned customers.
  • Demonstrating excellence in employing the best sales practices, overcoming objections, and negotiation.
  • Utilize Oracle and input notes from interactions.
  • Demonstrates active listening to better serve the customer.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
