Summary

The HRIS Analyst II, provides overall support and maintenance of the HRIS systems including UKG UltiPro Core HR/Payroll, Time & Attendance, and other systems. The person in this role, will provide production support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. This individual is expected to support HR and Payroll departments.

The HRIS Analyst II, generates ad hoc reports/queries including advanced report-writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports. This position serves as the primary contact for customer support to Human Resources, Payroll and its employees. This position is a shared resource and will collaborate with the Company's IT team to provide solutions, enhance existing processes and automate manual functions. This position will participate and/or lead new system implementations, deployment of system upgrades and patches, and other system changes to meet business needs. This position conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation for new hires on the use of UltiPro, the company's HRIS system. This person will also train new system users on updated processes and system functionality. The HRIS Analyst II, will perform all duties related with HR Information Technology.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintains and supports the HRIS systems (HR and Payroll)
  • Collaborates with the Vice President, Administration, Director, IT and Group Vice President, Operations.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality, integrity and accuracy of all data in the HRIS and affiliated systems.
  • Identifies, recommends and implements new functionality in the HRIS system to automate manual / inefficient processes.
  • Manages and collaborate with IT, the relationship with our HRIS / HRMS vendor. Periodically review new functionality and enhancement offered by our vendor.
  • Enters status changes, new hires, garnishments, etc. for assigned groups. The HRIS Analyst II, will process HR changes requiring special processing and will maintain a log of special requests from facilities e.g., transfers, new job codes, etc.
  • Acts as the primary contact for customer support and the efficient use of the HRIS system and time and attendance software for Human Resources and Payroll.
  • Assists in the review, testing and implementation of the HRIS system upgrades and patches.
  • Assists in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs and processes routine reports (census, unemployment, WOTC, etc.) as requested while ensuring that efficient and meaningful reports are generated.
  • Develops procedures, written guidelines, and manuals for effective communication and business operations related to the HRIS system.
  • Trains new system users upon hire and when requested.
  • Provides support on the self-service portal.
  • Serves as company liaison and system administrator for the HRIS systems.
  • Provides analytical insights and reports to improve HR processes and systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of HRIS, UKG (UltiPro) required.

Strong understanding of HR processes and data flow including eligibility requirements, enrollment rules, employee benefits, timekeeping and wage and hour laws

Payroll processing experience/knowledge preferred.

Advanced experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Must be detail oriented & able to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills required.

Must have excellent customer and teamwork skills.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, 3-5 years of related experience and/or training and 10+ years of management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
