Reports To

Senior Director Commercial Sales

Position Summary

ChargePoint's Regional Director works with the Senior Director to define the sales strategy for their defined region. This includes integrating both direct and channel sales to deliver on key sales metrics. The Regional Director oversees daily sales activity, meets with key clients and partners, maintains sales metrics, tracks pipeline development as well as month to month and quarterly billings estimates and actuals.

Essential Functions

  • Manage a team to meet and exceed the revenue and billing quota.
  • Develop sales strategies leveraging various incentive programs within the region for the team to execute.
  • Perform sales presentations and demonstrations for customers, partners and prospects.
  • Travel extensively within the region to develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts, present, articulate/clarify value and differentiation, and win business in the expected timeframe.
  • Focus the team to partner with field reseller partners and/or service partners to develop sales opportunities and to support sales and implementation activities.
  • Develop regional strategy, including channel leverage and internal resource requirements, for the team's success.
  • Accurately forecast revenue for the region.
  • Develop a strong technical baseline through training and development milestones.

Requirements

  • BS required, MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of sales management experience and a strong track record of either direct and/or channel sales experience
  • Must have the verbal, quantitative, and interpersonal skills normally acquired through the completion of a BA or MBA.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, strong execution capability and the ability to recruit, train and manage a diverse sales team
  • Comfortable collecting and analyzing data to make thoughtful business decisions

US Remote (West Coast)

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $119,250 to $221,130. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
