The role of the Senior Analyst of Distribution & Logistics Operations is to drive a data driven approach to operations through analytics, reporting, and operational visibility across the US and Canada Distribution & Logistics organization. You will report to the Director of North America Distribution & Logistics Operations.

This is a hybrid role and will work onsite in our San Francisco Headquarters three days per week.

About the Job:

  • Create and standardize internal reports to drive continuous visibility to multi-channel operations

  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to give visibility to orders, allocation, and inventory flow

  • Work closely with IT and business resources in the development and automation of reporting and supporting business processes

  • Drive updates to existing reporting to accommodate the changing needs of the business

  • Troubleshoot issues that arise within existing reporting

  • Keep larger team abreast of system upgrades, planned outages and other interruptions to regular process

  • Act as an early adopter of new technology, participating in user-testing and providing relevant feedback

  • Participate in business case creation for key strategic initiatives and ensure all decisions are supported by rigorous analysis

  • Train new team members on existing reporting tools and reports and update and maintain training materials on a regular basis

  • Establish strong cross functional relationships with Inventory Management, Inbound/Outbound Logistics, Allocation, Order to Cash and DC Management

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree, however a combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitute

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an analytics and/or reporting role

  • Expert knowledge and proficiency with excel (can perform complex functions) , Business Objects, and SAP, with preference for Python, SQL, or similar programming languages capabilities

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs quickly

  • Broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of business operations, policies and practices

  • Strong demonstrated ability to work independently, manage data-intensive projects, and engage remote teams

  • This person is dynamic, analytical, planful, organized, and enjoys problem solving.

  • Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities

  • Extremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment

  • Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, and ability to engage with executive level partners

  • Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy

  • Must demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in LS & Co.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $77,300- $120,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
