DescriptionThe Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a Psychologist to join the UCLA Child OCD, Anxiety, and Tic Disorder Program. The program is a clinical research program that specializes in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety and related problem in children and adolescents. Primary duties include:
* Assisting in implementing program protocols and trainings
* Administering psychodiagnosis, psychotherapy, and cognitive behavior therapy
* Completing required paperwork and documentation, including work with IRB
* Providing evaluation, treatment, and care coordination
* Other clinical duties as assigned.
Please note this is a 11 month limited position and may convert to career.
Pay Range: $58.36 - $76.99 hourly.
QualificationsPhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
Valid CA State Psychology License
Extensive training in psychotherapy and psychopathology
Prior experience working with youth patients with depression, self-harm behavior, and suicidal ideation and behavior
Ability to assess and interpret complex emotional and medical diagnosis for children and adolescents
Ability to recommend course of treatment and implement treatment plans
Ability to train, supervise, and teach staff and trainees
Ability to work nights and weekends if needed
