Role Summary

As a Sr Specialist, Growth Marketing, Data & Operations you'll leverage our data and marketing technology to segment, build and send emails, develop, document and implement journeys, and maintain quality control.


Responsibilities

THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Translate marketing requirements into well-designed and customized marketing solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Work with cross-functional teams (internal stakeholders and external agencies/vendors) to ensure end-to-end technical and business viability
  • Architect data feeds, platform configuration, and components needed to run complex automated email campaigns and journeys
  • Email development, quality assurance, testing, data reliability, segmentation, analysis, and more
  • Build functional and technical solutions to deliver on marketing analytics, segmentation, activation & personalization requirements
  • Maintain and document technical processes and marketing automation procedures
  • Fundamental understanding of complex marketing technology systems to optimize automation solutions for efficiency and simplicity
  • Subject matter expert of our marketing operations, systems, and tools, including training and documenting platform features, processes, and procedures for all marketing workflows and automations
  • Monitor and report on all marketing workflows, automations, and email deliverability
  • Create highly personalized scalable dynamic email templates and content modules

Qualifications

THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing operations and technology
  • Expert in marketing automation systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred), customer data platforms, and analytics
  • Worked with vendors like litmus, validity, etc.
  • Experience implementing and managing operations for email, push, in-app, and SMS/MMS
  • Knowledge of email best practices, deliverability improvements, and compliance standards (CAN-SPAM and CASL)
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, dark mode, and responsive design, knowledge of AMPscript, JS, SQL, JSON, Ampscript and API functionality a plus
  • Strong quality assurance skills and knowledge of email rendering bugs and workarounds cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility issues
  • Data-oriented and robust understanding of segmentation
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a proven track record of highly effective collaboration
  • High energy with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $98,500 - $123,100 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
