What you will do:

  • Receive, review and interpret electrical drawings and specifications for new quotes and projects.
  • Interface with various manufacturers' software's to build switchgear BOM's which accurately reflect the scopes of work specified.
  • Effectively communicate with manufacturers/vendors for quote requests which are unable to be completed in-house.
  • Strategize with sales team on approach and sell price of quote opportunities.
  • Understand OneSource pricing models and billing procedures.
  • Prepare detailed submittal documents in preparation for customer review and order entry for awarded projects.
  • Interface with Job Management software to create purchase orders, order acknowledgements, ship tickets, shipment summaries, credits, returns, and all other documents associated with project execution.
  • Track lead times and shipment activity on a weekly basis and communicate with customers.
  • Navigate scope changes and resolve/escalate obstacles on projects in a timely manner as they arise.
  • Keep tidy records of project billing and ensure budgets are upheld.
  • Delegate tasks to Project Admin and seek support from team members as needed.
  • Participate in training courses.
  • Occasional visits to customer offices, job sites, manufacturer facilities, team gatherings, and other relevant events
  • Practice good interpersonal relations, tact, courtesy, and a positive attitude in all interactions.
  • Perform any other duties assigned which contribute to customer service, branch profitability, and company success.

What you will bring:

  • Associates' degree (A.A.) and two to four years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in the Electrical Distribution or Construction industry preferred, but not required.
  • Experience managing small projects from start to finish preferred, but not required.
  • Proven ability to start and complete tasks with a focus on details.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of OneSource computer systems, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Must be a team player and abide by OneSource strong core values and beliefs.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Required to sit, speak, hear, read, type, use close and distance vision (about 5-8 hours per shift).
  • Professional office environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Frequent computer use.

Salary Range:

  • This is a non-exempt position and pays between $27.21 - $36.29 per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
