SEC Reporting Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SEC REPORTING Manager:
  • The SEC Reporting Manager will be responsible for the coordination and management of the Company's financial reporting to the SEC, including preparation of 10-K, 10-Q, 8K, Earnings Press Releases, GAAP Research, and metrics analysis.
  • Provide technical research, technical memos, and implementation of accounting issues to ensure US GAAP compliance and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Must have public accounting experience in audit, strong GAAP knowledge, experience in financial statement consolidation, SEC reporting, footnotes, disclosures, XBRL compliance, Stock-based compensation accounting, revenue accounting, and due diligence.
  • Responsibilities will include assistance with financial planning and analysis, internal financial reporting, coordination of external audit, and Sarbanes Oxley documentation.
  • Responsibilities will also include the supervision of the accounting staff, prepare consolidated financials, prepare disclosures, compliance reporting, month end close, and ad hoc reporting & analysis.
  • Responsible for Equity Accounting, Shareholder equity reporting, and stock-based compensation ASC 718.
  • Perform derivative/hedge accounting and other investment accounting.
  • Seeking International financial statement preparation/consolidation and analysis.
  • Work on complex accounting research & projects.
  • Position will also coordinate and liaise with internal and external audits.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SEC REPORTING MANAGER:
  • Minimum 4+ years of public accounting experience from large national CPA firm.
  • CPA from public accounting is required for consideration. Active license preferred.
  • Degree required. Strong excel is required and strong systems would be a plus. Excellent Communication and analytical skills are a must.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
