Company Overview:
Our client is a prestigious medical device company with over $XB in revenue that is growing rapidly. As they continue to expand, the company is seeking to hire its first Senior Director of FP&A to join their leadership team. You will be reporting directly to the CFO. The Company is offering a total compensation package that includes a salary band of $240 - $260k and a 25% bonus.
EssentialJobFunctions:
  • Lead the FP&A team - partnering closely with key stakeholders across the business to budget, forecast, and manage the business.
  • Lead the annual budget process, track, and report on performance relative to plan, and manage ongoing rolling forecast updates.
  • Consolidated results and segment level results
  • Coordination and preparation of regional & territory business updates, including profitability and key performance indicators
  • Analyze sales information, provide insight and report on key performance indicators to management, strategic partners and other stakeholders on business drivers to guide decision making processes with clear messaging
  • Create financial dashboards that enable comparisons and insight at summary and detailed levels for different audiences across internal stakeholders, regions and product lines | PowerBI
  • Drive strategic financial planning, develop long range plans, and evaluate strategic initiatives in partnership with operating leads across the business.
  • Maintain and enhance the efficiency of internal financial reporting processes, serving as a thought leader to upgrade reporting standards through the pursuit of continuous process improvement.
  • Create ad-hoc analyses to drive business strategy, improve efficiency, and maximize ROI.
  • Preparation of presentations for monthly and quarterly Board of Director meetings.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any other related field | MBA or CPA, a plus
  • 15+ years of experience with a significant amount of FP&A experience in a manufacturing business (required). A minimum of 7-10 years of management experience.
  • Must have proven competence in data mining, analysis, and modeling capabilities, advanced Excel
  • Demonstrated knowledge in financial modeling for a manufacturing business.
  • Deep knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
  • Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, and rolling budgets
  • Strong executive presence and can present at quarterly board meetings, earning calls, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior background at a F1000 company, preferred | prior experience overseeing all of FP&A, not just a division.
  • Experience with PowerBI, or another data analytic reporting software, highly desirable
