About the Position:

Epic Staffing Group is looking for an Associate Counsel who will be responsible for [overseeing and managing all litigation and dispute resolution processes within Epic Staffing Group and its subsidiaries. This position is responsible for educating and advising the company on best practices to ensure compliance with legal frameworks and minimize legal risks.

What you'll do:

  • Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes to safeguard the Company's interests.

  • Collaborate with the People Operations department to handle employment-related disputes and ensure compliance with employment laws.

  • Advise the Company on legal strategies to prevent disputes and minimize litigation risks.

  • Coordinate with external legal counsel for effective representation in legal proceedings.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for managing legal matters related to disputes and litigation.

  • Provide guidance on compliance with applicable laws and regulations affecting the Company's operations.

What you bring:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

  • Member of State Bar for individual's physical location.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in-house or in a private law firm setting, preferably with an emphasis on employment law.

  • Experience with California employment law and knowledge of healthcare or staffing industries is preferred.

  • Experience in handling complex litigation cases and collaborating with external counsel.

  • Experience in an environment that requires a high degree of discretion and sound judgment.

Salary: $160,000 Annually
