Job Description

Introduction

ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, bring together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market, and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world's leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices inChandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

The Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), part of ASML Core IT Infrastructure Services, is an Agile Release Train (ART) that offers Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud to other departments in the organization. About 50 other ASML teams make use of these cloud platforms in a DevOps way of working. This means they build, run, own (and fix) their own environment in the cloud. The role of the CCoE is not only to provide a stable, secure cloud platform, but also best practices and guidance, so the teams using cloud can fulfil their responsibility with regards to architecture, security, service management and cost management.

Job Mission

You are challenged by a demanding, dynamic and fast-changing, multicultural work environment. You are focused on and motivated by realizing business value. You're passionate about driving a team to perform at its maximum potential via continuous improvement, including coaching people in their personal development. You are pro-active and like working in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Are you the Scrum Masterwho is eager to learn and apply agile principles to expand ASML's fast growing business?

As a Senior Scrum Master in the Cloud Center of Excellence in the USA, you will be the servant leader that guides CCoE teams on how to support and advise customers in their cloud journey. You will work shoulder to shoulder with the Product Owner of your own team and collaborate with the Leading Coalition, other Product Owners, Scrum Masters and (business) stakeholders. Within the Agile Release Train, you will report to the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and actively participate in Scrum of Scrums. You are expected to be pro-active in reaching out to collaborate and discuss dependencies. It essential that you get to know internal customers who need your specific competence to create solutions in your team's scope.

How is your team evolving, maturing? Do you have the correct skillsets in the team; is there balance? Do you need more architects, or more platform engineers? Do you have sufficient seniors in the team, or are you heavy on junior engineers? What is the direction for professional development in your teams? How is the mindset & culture? Does it still fit with the vision of the ART? You are key in shaping the way forward for your teams on all these aspects, in close collaboration with the RTE.
