Position: Project Manager - Full-Time Onsite
Industry: Manufacturing and Production Excellence
Salary Range:$100K-$120K annually, with potential for bonuses
Location:Palmdale, CA
Work Hours:8 AM to 5 PM
Note: A security clearance is required prior to employment. This position is strictly onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Lifecycle Management:Manage all stages of project development from initiation to closure, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards. Utilize advanced project management tools to track progress and adjustments.
Stakeholder Engagement:Establish and sustain robust relationships with both internal teams and external clients. Maintain open lines of communication, routinely updating stakeholders on progress and managing any concerns that arise.
Risk Management:Identify, assess, and communicate risks and opportunities associated with the project. Implement strategies to mitigate risks and enhance project profitability and timelines.
Scope and Change Management:Handle project scope diligently, managing all change requests in alignment with project goals. Ensure all changes are approved and documented systematically, integrating them into the overall plan.
Additional Duties:
- Assist in overseeing project operations, ensuring compliance with organizational goals.
- Develop detailed reports and presentations to illustrate project status.
- Collaborate with project teams to guarantee the achievement of all milestones.
- Adapt project strategies as needed to navigate challenges and meet project deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field with an emphasis on Project Management.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and mastery of project management software are essential.
- Knowledge of technical drawing interpretation and manufacturing process management.
- Proficient in financial oversight related to project management.
Security and Travel Requirements:
- Candidates must obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance to be eligible for this role.
- Occasional local travel may be required for project oversight; minimal overnight travel involved.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Position is based in an office setting with periodic visits to manufacturing areas requiring safety compliance.
- Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of both office and light industrial environments.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
