The Temporary Procurement Specialist that supports our Agena Bioscience business has responsibility for necessary support with various procurement activities, including sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing. This will be a 6-month temporary assignment with potential to transition to a full-time role.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Place Purchase Orders with suppliers and obtain timely confirmations.
• Monitor the status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of all materials, including timely resolution, communication, and mitigation of future potential issues.
• Timely updates on the NetSuite ERP system PO confirmations, delivery dates, and other inputs.
• Expedite or defer orders as required based on the MRP exception report.
• Support and collaborate with internal departments and resolve issues regarding PO-to-invoice discrepancies, returns, and quality issues.
• Support and maintain material master system planning parameters (MOQ, lead time, safety stocks)
• Support and maintain the Supplier ASL database/Supplier classification reviews.
• Track and report on purchasing activities.
• Track and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other procurement parameters as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Education:

• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum 2-4 experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role.
• Proficient with MS Office suite - advanced skills with MS Excel
• Analytical with a methodical approach to problem-solving
• Working knowledge of NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong sense of urgency & attention to detail
• Excellent organization, communication, and follow-up skills
• Works independently, guided by short-term objectives.

Compensation/Benefits:

Salary Range for this position is $21/hr - $23/hr.
