Overview of the role

As the Associate HR Business Partner, you will be in an individual contributor role that is responsible for advising associates and managers on various strategic and tactical HR programs with the support of other HR leadership.

This position is onsite in SF 4x a week (hybrid role).

Responsibilities

With the support and guidance of a member of HRBP Leadership, your responsibilities include:

  • Administrative Functions: Support in various tactical HR functions including streamlining communications, process improvements for various ad-hoc HR programs, pulling reports for client requests, etc. Providing various support and answering questions related to policies and procedures, leaves of absence, and various other HR-related questions. Maintain org charts and associate employee lists, process associate changes, schedule meetings, etc.
  • Associate Relations: Advise and coach associates on various HR-related issues; support at a more detailed client level - with specific issues or concerns that are client specific
  • HR Collaboration: Partner with HR business partner and COE colleagues to leverage expertise and best practices across business teams. Partner with HR counterparts to facilitate and funnel HR programs across the client group. HR programs can include succession planning, performance management, internship program, etc.
  • HR Metrics: Analyze staffing, retention, exit interview data and other information to provide qualitative, quantitative, and actionable insights. Provide support to an HR Leader on presenting next steps and suggestions.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding - Provide support in welcoming and properly exiting associates at WSI. Create streamlined processes to properly bring onboard new associates through new hire orientation and support to management, as well as exiting employees through exit interviews.
  • Recognition Programs - Provide support by helping manage our recognition programs through coordinate communications and tracking nominations.
  • Supports clients at the Management level and below

Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience (Business or HR preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience
  • Knowledge of HR practices, including employment law, compensation, performance management, leadership development, coaching, employee relations, change management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Strong technical acumen of Microsoft Office Suite and an HR Management system

The expected starting pay range for this position is $95,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
