This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a Client Program Specialist - Patent to join our team in our Seattle, Bellevue, Portland, San Francisco, or Los Angeles offices.
This position offers the flexibility to be fully remote while working within reasonable commuting distance from any of the listed offices.
This position is responsible for providing support to patent client teams, including overseeing projects, and contributing to process flow organization. It requires someone who is highly detail orientated, and possesses strong administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills while prioritizing and managing multiple assignments.

On a typical day you will:
  • Oversee status of patent projects using project management tool
  • Manage a high volume of client communication, and determine appropriate action or response
  • Manage a high volume of client billing, with attention to client and internal billing guidelines
  • Report new actions, filings, and other patent activity to client
  • Liaison with clients to provide information by telephone, email, and using client specific software
  • Clear subject matter conflicts, and monitor client specific deadlines
  • Coordinate scheduling of disclosure meetings and review meetings
  • Availability and willingness to work overtime as needed or requested
  • Other duties as assigned
Join us if you have:
  • 4+ years of experience in an office setting, preferably in the legal or professional services industry
  • Demonstrated project management experience preferred
  • Prior experience with project management software and/or docketing software
  • Self-starter with a high degree of attention to detail and sensitivity to confidential materials
  • Ability to accurately type 50+ wpm
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently
  • Ability to multitask and balance competing projects and deadlines
  • A highly professional demeanor and appearance
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, service focused environment and to handle stressful situations in calm, composed manner
  • Previous experience in a law firm or professional services organization, supporting a multi-office environment, preferred
  • A high school diploma or GED certification
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with all levels of a professional services organization, including interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service, analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Washington State
The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $70,000 to $78,000 ($37.50-$40.00 hourly). Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate's education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine and virtual short term solution based counseling services, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, subsidized backup care and caregiving resources, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 11 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full-time employees, the initial vacation benefit is 15 days per year and 11 days of sick leave per year, accrued bi-weekly. Additional voluntary programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long term care, and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs are also available.
California
The annualized salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $65,000 to $76,000 ($33.33-$38.97 hourly); and in San Francisco is $77,000 to $80,000 ($39.49-$41.03 hourly). Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine and virtual short term solution based counseling services, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, subsidized backup care and caregiving resources, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
