NABVETS will provide personal advocacy on behalf of veterans seeking claims against the United States Department of Veterans Affairs; advocacy for youth in all matters required for successful passage into adulthood; advocacy on behalf of families; with community involvement, provide advocacy in creating positive lifestyles for veterans; and to generate and preserve the historical record.

NOVA is a nonprofit, federally funded employment and training agency that provides customer-focused workforce development services. We work closely with local businesses, educators and job seekers to ensure that our programs provide opportunities that build the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to address the workforce needs of Silicon Valley.

Veterans Industries is a program of the Department of Veterans Affairs. We were established in 1993 as part of the Comprehensive Homeless Center to provide veterans the skills necessary to work and live independently in the community. The staff at Community Placement and Support/Compensated Work Therapy (CPS/CWT) works closely with Veteran Industries to insure that veterans are prepared and ready to go to work.

The Westside Residence Hall is the largest transitional housing and employment center for homeless veterans in the country, housing 700 veterans annually. At Westside homeless veterans find safe, sober, affordable transitional housing, with access to case management, counseling, employment assistance, job training, and career planning in a seamless continuum of support.

USO San Diego is an organization with a mission to enhance the quality of life of the U.S. Armed Forces personnel and their families worldwide and to create a cooperative relationship between U.S. military communities and involved or supporting civilian communities. Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD), also known as Vietnam Veterans of San Diego, is dedicated to extending assistance to needy and homeless veterans of all wars and eras and their families by providing housing, food, clothing, substance abuse recovery and mental health counseling, job training and job search assistance. We believe in the inherent worth of each and every Veteran and his or her right to a rehabilitation program which leads to renewed self-worth and independent living.

The Women Marines Association is the only veterans association for and about women Marines. WMA is a non-profit 501(c)3 veteran organization. The Women Marines Association was established in Denver, CO, in 1960 to ensure that our history as Marines would continue to be told and passed on to a new generation of Marines. Chapters and members across the nation work on community programs and support our military personnel, our veterans and their communities. They reach across all areas where there is a need.
