Position Description
We are looking for a Warehouse/Back-Up Delivery team member to join our team in Benicia, CA!This position reports to the operations manager. Duties are primarily in the warehouse with delivery to customers as needed.
HOURS: Full-time position - Daytime hours Monday through Fridays - No weekends!!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibility in a single area of the warehouse and must assist in other areas of the Distribution Center.
• Mats/ length/ supplies - pull and process incoming orders.
• Will Call - distribute pick-up orders - overall service of our customers.
• Chop - QA/inspect orders for shipping.
• Receiving - replenishment of inventory and process.
• Shag - pulling & preparing orders for saw operators.
• Maintain clean work area.
Back-up delivery duties include:
• Occasional driving 18 foot box truck on a specified delivery route.
• Ability to work within a timeline for delivery.
• Loading & unloading of the delivery truck.
• Collects all COD's.
• Maintains truck for repair & cleanliness.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
*Warehouse/production and/or delivery experience a plus.
*Ability to perform multiple tasks.
*Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
*Can read and recognize product variations.
*Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
*Ability to interpret maps; good mechanical abilities.
*H.S. diploma or GED desired.
