POSITION: EDUCATION COORDINATOR
SITE: San Pablo, CA
SUPERVISOR: PROGRAM DIRECTOR
START DATE: ASAP
QUALIFICATIONS: BA in Special Education, Psychology or related field (MA or PhD desired). Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis; 2 years experience teaching in a special education classroom (Moderate/Severe credential is desirable); 2 years additional experience providing supervision and program management in a setting serving students with special needs

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work as part of a Site Management Team providing managerial support to several key program functions including: supervision of classroom teachers; insure compliance with California Department of Education guidelines; assist with risk management components of the school program; provide behavior assessments, behavior management program development, and clinical problem solving; and provide guidance in empirical classroom management systems and data-guided teaching. Applicant should have strong managerial skills and experience including staff development practices, strong written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of special education laws and regulations, demonstrated ability to handle complex tasks under demand conditions and ability to operate in a team environment. An additional expectation is that the applicants possess interest and skills necessary to participate in outside consultation and training.
