Department
Comcast Sports Group operates 10 sports networks that cover more than
2400 live sporting events annually and deliver comprehensive sports news
and analysis to nearly 40 million cable and satellite homes. Comcast
Sports Group's networks are: Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, Comcast
SportsNet Chicago, Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, Comcast SportsNet New
England, Comcast SportsNet Northwest, Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia,
Comcast SportsNet West, SNY, The Mtn.- MountainWest Sports Network, and
CSS. These networks provide live game coverage of 18 professional teams
as well as college, minor league and other sports. For more information

Tasks
Work with technical staff to satisfy production needs for show, under supervision of Producer, Director, and Technical Director
Serve as fill-in for all other technical positions as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
Requirements
Degree (preferably in Communications) or equivalent work experience required
Minimum of three to five years experience in TV Studio Production as a Technical Director, Audio Operator or Tape Operator
General understanding of all aspects and duties of a level 1 technician, including: Stage Managing, Studio Camera, Teleprompter, Lighting, Video Tape Playback, Still Store, Video Shading
Functional knowledge and experience on multi-ME video switchers, DVEs, and/or audio mixers and/or graphics platforms
Functional knowledge of Digital Tape and Non-linear recording systems
Proficient in live studio and remote program operations
Proficiency in Inews or similar newsroom management system is a plus
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills required
Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must
Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays
Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
