We are currently seeking candidates for a Director of Pharmacy at Salinas Valley Memorial Health System in Salinas, CA.


Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System is an integrated network of health care programs, services and facilities including a 269-bed acute care hospital. SVMRHS has partnerships and collaborations the world's leading medical and scientific institutions such as Stanford University Medical Center, The Mayo Clinic and NASA.

As Director of Pharmacy with CPS you will have a full support team available to you. From a Regional VP, Regional Clinical Director, 340B Specialist, Regulatory Specialist, Drug Information Specialist, other Directors and more.

We’ll rely on you to oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling and supervising activities in the hospital pharmacy according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and State and Federal laws. You’ll recommend innovations in the practice and function of the hospital pharmacy to Administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs. You’ll need the ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns in addition to the ability to work cooperatively with other members of Comprehensive Pharmacy Services and hospital and pharmacy staff.

Our ideal candidate has at least a minimum of 2 years acute care pharmacy management experience in a larger hospital setting, including experience with Joint Commission, Clinical, Purchasing. California pharmacist licensure in good standing required.
