The Healthcare business of Thomson Reuters provides insights -- information, benchmarks and analysis -- that enable organizations to manage costs, improve performance and enhance the quality of healthcare.
  • This position will work independently to provide research and analytic support for decision support products.
  • Responsible for task leadership and sub-task management on small to mid-size projects.
  • Conduct data analysis using basic to advanced skills in statistics and database management. Execute analytic methodologies and develop recommendations to support client actions and decision-making.
  • Complete assignments on time and manages sub-tasks within budget.
  • Interact with clients in a professional manner and respond quickly to client requests.
  • Assist with the development and documentation of database design, specifications, and analytical results, and with the presentation of these elements to clients.
  • Support other team members with database construction and/or analytic activities, including assisting with the development of test plans and data quality problem resolution strategies.


Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field such as: Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Applied Mathematics
  • One year experience working in health services research or other applied research setting.
  • Proven task management skills.
  • Basic programming and database management skills using SAS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with individuals at various levels within the organization and with external clients.
