	Position Description
	As a senior level Systems Administrator, you will work as an integral part of the Systems Administration team to administer RAND's computing systems and networks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Responsible for Windows 2000(3) server support, EMC SAN storage support, Cisco Unity voicemail server, network and system monitoring - Provide IIS, Apache, SQL, and programming support as required
	Qualifications
	- Extremely high skill level with Windows 2003, SAN & NAS storage, VMWARE, IronPort and Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 - Good understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, server virtualization, and Active Directory - Minimum of 5 years experience with Microsoft 2000(3), including architecting a corporate-wide installation, as well as troubleshooting the most difficult of Exchange problems - Minimum of 4 years experience with Windows 2000(3) in a commercial or university setting - Scripting, programming background - Experience maintaining production Cisco Unity, server virtualization, LDAP, and SQL database services preferred - Strong communication, customer-service, and project technical lead skills
	Education Requirements
	BA/BS degree and Microsoft MCSE certification preferred; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education.
	Experience
	5 to 10 years is required.
	Security Clearance
	U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
