| Daily Responsibilities | Investigate and resolve data quality problems within the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) databases. Work directly with business analysts, developers, DBAs and management to determine root cause of each type of error, formulate solution for how to stop it from occurring, and devise remediation plan to repair data that has already been affected. Use SQL, PL/SQL and other tools to research these data issues as well as develop on-going and ad hoc reports pertaining to data quality issues in the system. Monitor on-going data quality reports for anomalies that could indicate new issues to investigate. Work includes both responding to urgent issues as they arise and proactive analysis work to seek out and research previously unknown problems. |
