The San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina seeks talented people to join their staff. If providing guests with an experience that exceeds their expectations is your thing, then we need you now! Many exciting opportunities in our Engineering department are awaiting you.
Immediate opportunities at this location: San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina– 333 West Harbor Drive, San Diego CA 92101
• Mechanic (Plant Refrigeration)-$15.00 to start- FT- AM/PM shift: Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment (e.g., boilers, chillers and air handling units/controls), including charging refrigeration systems, replacing compressors, condensers, evaporator, and all other components relating to refrigeration equipment. Maintain and conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant. Monitor and control property temperatures. Monitor and analyze energy and utilities usage. Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters and other equipment. Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring. Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings and valves. Position requires excellent guest service skills and must be available to work flexible schedule.
** Preference for this position is to be EPA certified for Refrigeration.**
