Position: Senior Project Manager

Region: Los Angeles, CA

Description: McKissack & McKissack, specializing in architecture & interiors, program & construction management, planning & facilities management, environmental engineering and transportation, has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager in our Los Angeles office. We are looking for a self-motivated individual, interested in personal growth, who wants to be a member of our growing team and who meets the following qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Engineering degree plus a minimum of 12 years experience in the building design and construction industry, both in vertical and horizontal construction

Professional Engineering (PE) certification, not mandatory, but a definite plus

LEED Accredited Professional designation and Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification would also be a definite plus

Demonstrated experience serving in an Owner’s Representative role

Demonstrated ability to interact in a cooperative and effective manner with the owner

Demonstrated ability to coordinate the work of consultants and contractors

Excellent writing and oral communications skills

Strong computer skills, including experience in spreadsheets and project schedules

Strong estimating and scheduling skills

Strong interpersonal skills with experience in business development/marketing initiatives
