Specific Responsibilities: This is an excellent opportunity to be on the front lines in HR support at Gilead!

In this role you will:

* Provide support to HR, Managers and Employees focused on delivering a high level of customer service.
* Responsible for front-line management of Human Resources related inquiries received by telephone and email.
* Provide Subject Matter expertise in HR processes, policies and tools.
* Contribute to the on-going development of the HRanswr FAQ library.
* Utilize CRM technology to track and manage inquiries for reporting and analysis purposes.
* Perform data entry, audits, password resets and manage other HR system related activities.
* Manage Employee files including daily filing, audits, archiving and responding to Sarbanes Oxley requests.
Essential Duties and Job Functions: * Provide support for a range of processes which could include Service Awards, Unemployment Compensation and Verification of Employment.
* Participate in the on-going evolution of the Shared Services organization in terms of values, operations and service delivery.
* Liaise with internal Gilead departments and Third-Party service providers as necessary.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills: * Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years experience in an HR Support role.
* Familiarity and understanding of general HR terminology, concepts, procedures and US employment regulations.
* Strong Customer Service orientation while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentially with each interaction.
* Solid verbal, written, interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
* Ability to identify critical situations and take action to escalate per a given process or circumstance.
* Effective team-working orientation and skills.
* Ability to multitask yet remain detailed-oriented with sound time management skills.
* Must possess strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
* Experience with PeopleSoft a plus.
* Must be able to perform job responsibilities and duties under minimal supervision.
