Job Responsibilities:
Ingenix Consulting, a nationally-recognized leader in healthcare informatics consulting, is seeking a Consultant.
We provide healthcare clients with the expertise to seamlessly implement new technology solutions. Our professionals understand healthcare -- combining deep industry experience, valuable product knowledge, and broad skill sets to provide services ranging from management advisory to solutions delivery.
Successful candidates should have a background in healthcare and/or healthcare informatics, specific software vendor experience, and an understanding of workflow processes in healthcare environments.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in either a consulting role or a supporting role in a healthcare IT, practice, or business office setting utilizing at least 3 core GE Centricity Business Solutions modules, such as: Billing and Accounts Receivable (BAR), Enterprise Wide Scheduling (SCHED or EWS), Advanced Web, MCA, EDI, ETM, etc.
  • Ideal candidate will have significant experience using the GE MCA application and/or the ability to the ability to translate and load Vendor contracts into our MCA module for claims processing.
  • 3+ years of experience with healthcare workflows, either clinical or revenue cycle.
  • 3+ years of experience with creation of formal project documentation and/or training materials.
  • 3+ years of experience with facilitating individual and group communication to ensure progress and successful completion of assignments.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to effectively work independently in a remote home office while ensuring deliverables and commitments are met, and regular communication across internal and client team members is maintained.
  • BA/BS preferred.
  • Ability to travel from 25% to 80% of the time required.
