POSITION REQUIREMENTS

PART TIME PHARMACY TECH VARIABLE SHIFT (INCLUDING NIGHTS & WEEKENDS) The Certified Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in the manufacture, packaging, and distribution of medications and intravenous solutions; maintains records on drugs ordered by physicians; inventories, receives, unpacks, and stores pharmaceutical items; demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served; and performs other related work as required. Provides primary customer service in a variety of settings and may perform other related duties as needed or assigned. Requires a minimum of one year experience as a Pharm Tech in an acute setting. Must possess a valid, current certificate as a Board of Pharmacy, State of California Pharmacy Technician.
