We are gearing up for a very exciting period in our long history and currently have an opening for an Associate Director of Admissions at our Stockton Campus.
OVERALL VIEW:
The role of the Associate Director, Admissions at each Heald campus is a vital part of the colleges’ successful operation and continued growth. Effectively supporting the Director of Admissions in leading the admissions department to achieving quarterly enrollment goals is critical to the organization's success.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Providing on-going training to admissions advisors, admissions administrative staff and new hires
• Maintaining a high-level of service to both internal and external customers to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
• Ensure all advisors have knowledge of and comply with federal, state and Heald requirements with respect to all admissions and advertising related issues. Ensure that enrollment goals are met on a quarterly basis. This includes:
• Help develop and monitor enrollment goals of all advisors
• Maintain an individual enrollment goal set forth by the campus director and DOA with input from the Corporate Director of Admissions.
• Disbursements of financial aid information and eligibility.
• No enrollment inducements of any kind for admissions advisors.
• Supervising daily activities of all Admissions Advisors, High School Presenters & Enrollers, and Administrative Assistants.
• Provide Ongoing Training to Admissions Advisors and Presenters
• Monitoring Inquiry Flow and Distribution.
• Ensuring Follow Through on all Student Financial Aid Appointments.
• Monitoring Class Starts
• Become Actively Involved with Other Department Heads to Help Manage All School Functions.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
• An Associates degree in business administration, marketing, communications or related field. Previous management experience is desired.
• The skills and ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, vendors, students, and CAO employees to ensure efficient activities and operations.
• The ability to lead, motivate and coach employees to contribute to the success of the admissions team mission.
• Ability to work with multiple projects and deadlines and to work effectively under pressure.
• Have a commitment to excellence in the performance of job responsibilities.
• Must have successful and proven experience working in admissions and have an intricate understanding of all components of the admissions process
