Job Summary |
|
In this newly created role, you’ll be on the ground floor of providing clerical support services to our Workers Comp Resolution Claims Unit (RCU). You’ll work from our Roseville, CA regional office supporting our local CA Workers Comp Claim Adjuster with bill payment, Explanation of Benefits processing, data entry, claim set up, and basic correspondence. You’ll also have the opportunity to assist the Unit Claim Manager and the virtual RCU team. There will always be something to do in this busy role -- if you’re not helping out the RCU, you’ll assist the local property/casualty team. If you’re proactive, resourceful, customer focused and have a passion for supporting the team, I hope we’ll hear from you. |

Essential Job Responsibilities |

Direct work flow and resolve problems as required.
Extract data from source documents and enter into appropriate system.
Order and distribute various reports as requested.
Process correspondence to customers.
Retrieve, deliver and maintain files.
Maintain logs.
Maintain and order supplies.
Improve processes within the Company to increase the level and quality of service provided to internal and external customers.
Process payments.
Set up new losses.
Provide administrative support to the department, such as word processing or spreadsheet data entry.
Field incoming calls and answer questions consistent with level of knowledge.
May be required to help support staff in other territories as work load dictates. |

Required Education &/or Exp |
|
High School Diploma or GED. Continuing education related to the job. 2 to 4 years experience in claim/clerical processing capacity with demonstrated achievements in progressive responsibilities Ability to lift 10 pounds
Job Related Knowledge and Skills: *Thorough knowledge of insurance claims processing and work flow. *Word-processing and spreadsheet skills (MS Word & Excel)
