| POSITION REQUIREMENTS | ||
| This position is responsible for the Nuclear Medicine operations. The primary responsibilities involve daily supervision of department flow, personnel training and competency, quality control procedures, inventory, equipment evaluation and control, billing accuracy and continuous quality improvement. Teamwork and effective communication is paramount. This position is responsible for regulatory compliance and preparedness; development of clear policy and procedures, and promotion of the Nuclear Medicine Department both internally and externally. The Nuclear Medicine Supervisor works in concert with the Imaging Director to ensure the department is maintained at the highest level of standards. The Supervisor also works with the Medical Director to maintain the Radiation Safety Committee and participate in various other committees for optimal patient care. Will also serve as the alternate radiation officer. Data collection, analysis and reporting is an important function in this role. Requirements Current California state certification in all categories of nuclear medicine technology (broad license). Current certification in nuclear medicine technology by one or more of the following nation certification boards: Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-NM). 3 to 5 years of leadership experience required.
