Duties:	Lead Industrial Base and Parts, Materials and Processes (PMP)projects as a member of the Systems Engineering and Software Directorate in the Engineering and Integration Division. Assist the government in addressing problems with space parts issues. Participate in such groups as the Radiation Hardened Electronics Oversight Council and the ISO Space Standards Technical Advisory Group. Lead project teams and/or participate in audits conducted by Defense Study Center, Columbus (DSCC), and analyze audit results to recommend actions needed to address technical and security issues related to manufacturing and supply. Participate in specifications and standards development, OSS&E implementation, process assessments and other written deliverables for the Aerospace Chief Architect/Engineer. Work with program offices to implement and document systems engineering processes, develop failure-reporting processes, and manage ETG deliverables for PMP and radiation-hard parts development.
Qualifications:	A B.S. degree in engineering or science is required; an advanced degree is preferred. Position requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience. Extensive experience and demonstrated technical expertise in Parts, Materials and Processes, and in addressing industrial base issues. Previous experience leading multidisciplinary teams is desired. Outstanding customer relation skills and demonstrated verbal and written communication skills are required. Flexibility to assume a variety of tasks required. A current SBI is highly desirable.
