Clinical Data Manager / Clinical Data Analyst - Level IIJob Summary

A highly reputable biotechnology corporation is currently hiring 2 Clinical Data Managers / Clinical Data Analysts - Level II to work in the greater San Francisco, CA area.


Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities :



  • Assist in eCRF development, database testing, setup, installation and use.

  • Provide accurate, timely and consistent clinical data to support the team with the delivery of Clinical Data Management solutions on time. Includes data review, monitoring and discrepancy management.

  • Review of clinical data in accordance with applicable standardized data management processes (SOPs, work instructions, etc.) to identify erroneous, missing, incomplete, conflicting, or implausible data.

  • Facilitate data transfers, reconciliation results and other reports in a timely manner

  • Apply quality control procedures and checks to ensure data quality standards are achieved.

  • Perform aggregate review of clinical data by patient, site and/or project, as needed, to identify data trends and/or data inconsistencies that require further investigation.

  • Provide support for study specific clinical data management


Qualifications and Skills :



  • BA/BS in related field (science or technical)

  • 4 or more years of data handling experience

  • Attention to detail, Critical thinking skills

  • Strong aptitude in learning new software programs

  • Organized & self-motivated; able to meet tight deadlines

  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment with quickly shifting priorities


Preferred Qualifications and Skills :



  • SQL Programming

  • Fluency in CDISC (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium)

  • Clinical trial experience

  • Experience with program or project management (especially in a biotech environment)
