Job Description
Position Summary

To efficiently and profitably manage and direct the Station providing a quality product over a range of fueling services to its customer base and to expand the customer base accordingly.

Functions may include management and operation of fuel storage facilities, into-plane fuel servicing, ground support fuel servicing and maintenance of fueling equipment.

To meet and, where possible, improve on targets, both financial and operational, as set out in the Business Plan and in the Operating Budget.

Essential Duties

Prepare the operating budgets for ABM Fueling for the following year for approval by the ABM's Vice President of Operations and the President of ABM Fueling, Inc.

Prepare consortium operating budget to include any operational concerns/requirements for approval by the Fuel consortium chairperson and its member airlines.

Lead and direct local Operation Managers to establish proper resource planning (manpower, equipment and facilities).

Ensures Managers are in compliance with all company, customer, industry and Federal agency training and safety requirements including documentation through training records.

Ensure that both company and consortium financial targets are met.

Ensure close and effective business relationship with Fuel consortium chairperson and customer airline's fuel representatives.

Ensure that all subcontracted providers are closely supervised.

Ensure stability and maintenance of current customer accounts while striving to grow business through the Operation Managers as well as personal initiatives

Maintain a good working relationship with the various control authorities such as Airport Management and Federal Agencies to include; FAA, TSA, Customs, EPA, Immigrations, etc.

Ensure that all subcontracted providers are closely supervised.

Ensure stability and maintenance of current customer accounts while striving to grow business through the Operation Managers as well as personal initiatives.

Ensure local station management personnel conduct employee recruitment, retention, development and or discipline in accordance with all company, federal and state regulations

in regards to discrimination for race, color, gender, sexual preference, citizenship status, marital status, age, religion, national origin, veteran status, or disability.

Supervise and monitor the financial performance and the quality of service. Report relevant data to the Fuel consortium chairperson and Vice President of Operations ABM Fueling.

Ensure that administrative and control procedures are established and maintained in accordance with Fuel consortium and airline customer requirements as well as company policies/procedures.

Submit all financial information and reports as may be required by the Fuel consortium and Vice President of ABM Fueling within the agreed time frame and format.

Monitor station operations for compliance with fuel inventory controls and environmental compliance.

Implement, maintain and closely supervise all safety and security measures related to people, equipment, facilities and aircraft involved in the operation.

Provide any needed support to Fuel consortium chairperson in dealings with customers, authorities and labor organizations.

Support and assist both local station personnel and cooperate employees in collection of financial receivables under the scope of responsibility.

Ensure that there are effective planning methods and procedures in place to ensure that there are adequate resources, both manpower and equipment,

to meet operational requirements and that these resources are efficiently allocated in line with the operational needs.

Initiate new contracts in coordination with Fuel consortium chairperson and ABM's VP of Business Development.

Ensure that there is a progressive personnel policy governing the recruitment, training and development of staff.

Initiate new contracts in coordination with Fuel consortium chairperson and ABM's VP of Business Development.

Ensure that there is an efficient and effective communications system between management and the workforce.

Handling procedures within the given regulatory framework

Finance competence as authorized by Fuel consortium and/or Corporate SOP

Business development within the framework of the approved Fuel consortium budget and corporate Business Plan

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor degree Preferred.
Three (3) years aviation fueling experience.
Two (2) years or more years of management experience.
One (1) or more years of budgeting, planning, and scheduling experience.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge, including successful completion of a background check.
