Job Description

The Shuttle Bus Supervisor is responsible for general service compliance of shuttle bus operations for the Tampa International Airport. This includes but is not limited to maintaining the required service intervals, scheduling and assigning shifts, breaks and coordinating equipment assignments. The following is a list of daily and weekly responsibilities that should not be considered all inclusive

Starting salary $24/hr

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for enforcing driver schedules, lunch breaks, assigning shuttles.
  • Provides additional coverage for breaks and lunches.
  • Required to report any procedure or safety violation committed by drivers on their shift.
  • Enforces radio protocol and procedures.
  • Create reporting for passenger counts and track in Excel spreadsheet.
  • Create reporting for vehicles status and mileage.
  • May be required to drive during emergency operations, shortage of manpower or to support route operations in general.

Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Perform weekly ride-along for driver evaluations.
  • Create weekly performance reports per shift.
  • Manage weekly bus washing operation with on-site vendor.
  • Investigate and create responses to complaints.
  • Replenish office supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1-year CDL driving experience
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must submit to and pass a DOT examination
Must meet all the requirements to receive required airport security badge and customs seal.
