IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate. Valid drivers license. Must pass TSA driver and safety training series. Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees, customers and donors.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts. Ability to operate a telephone. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. Ability to operate fork lift. Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
1. Oversee operation of the auction and As-Is yard including conducting daily auctions.
2. Assure all beneficiaries assigned to the As-Is yard are properly fulfilling their WTA assignments and document any infractions or safety violations.
3. Responsible for the setup and arrangement of the As-Is yard.
4. Keep a watchful eye on dealers, customers and the yard before, during and after the auction.
5. Make sure the auction and the As-Is yard are operated according to TSA policy and Review Standards.
6. Assist cashier in counting and recording monies from As-Is sales.

7. As an employee and in accordance with Salvation Army policy, there should be no conflict of interest between any previous employer or competitor or any previous As-Is auction customers, weekend garage sales, swap meets, etc.
8. Overtime: Any and all overtime must have the written approval of the supervisor. The supervisor's initials must appear on the timecard beside the overtime hours.
9. Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned, from time to time, by the Transportation Supervisor or Production Manager.

* High School graduate or equivalent.
* Experience in providing customer service to prospective vehicle buyers.
* The ability to maintain records.
* Understand and follow instructions, both written and verbal.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
* Ability to operate a wireless phone or radio.
* Able to operate a motor vehicle.
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
* Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
1. Coordinate all aspects of the sale of donated vehicles, including:
* Inspect donated vehicles to determine a fair and reasonable sales price, in accordance with ARC policies.
* Inspect drive-in donated vehicles for condition and salability.
* Display vehicles and prices according to policy.
* Provide customer service to potential buyers and assist in showing vehicles to buyers.
* Coordinate with Administrative Assistant for the processing of any necessary paperwork.
* Oversee the security of the donated vehicle parking lot, opening lot in the morning and securing the lot at the close of business each day.
* Assist in maintaining the donated vehicle lot in a safe and orderly condition and see that all potential safety hazards are corrected.
* Coordinate the transfer of title and payment of vehicles per ARC Policies.
2. Follow safety measures established and maintained by ARC policy and government regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sell and process merchandise in accordance with Salvation Army policy.
2. Perform duties as assigned by Store Managers:
a) Stocking
b) Running POS
c) Cleaning
d) Marking down
e) Ragging out
3. Greet all customers and donors and give prompt, courteous assistance to customers and donors.
4. Assists in the maintenance of the store to keep it neat, clean and organized.
5. Maintains assigned department within the store.
6. Maintain safety standards and report any hazards/problems to the managers.
7. Other written or verbal duties as may be assigned by your supervisors.
