Enlighten IT Consulting, an Alion company is looking for a Full Stack Developer Intern. The ideal candidate is in their junior or senior year in college or has 1 year of experience. Will work in a fast paced, small business environment with our talented team. Will be provided support and guidance on a regular basis, but will be challenged and will need to learn quickly.

Duties:

• As a full-stack developer intern, you will code back-end services (Java highly desired) and front-end interfaces (JavaScript highly desired)
• Implement modern and responsive UI for the web
• Design, implement and use web services
• Iterating rapidly with our development team
• Integration across technologies and applications, application development, user interface development, and system testing

Security Clearance:

• A government clearance is not required, but candidate must be able to obtain a clearance that requires a background investigation, and a polygraph and therefore must be a U.S. Citizen.

Required Skills:

• Pursuing or has obtained a B.S. Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in Modern JavaScript Frameworks, JavaScript, Node, CSS
• Experience in RESTful web services
• Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) Languages
• Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting
