About our group:

The International Trade Administration is responsible for trade compliance within Seagate's global supply chain and business operations. This organization ensures compliance with US and regional Customs, export and indirect tax regulations and manages preferential trade programs and incentive.

About the role - you will:
  • To develop, improve, and implement trade compliance solutions, programs, procedures and audit protocols
  • Lead existing US trade compliance programs such as, Reconciliation, Duty Drawback, ENC reporting
  • Support corporate and global company initiatives from a trade perspective
  • Interpret and communicate regulatory changes to US trade regulations
  • Manage the AMERICAS trade compliance day to day import / export operations, including restricted parties list, due diligence, deemed export screening
  • Interpret contract terms/conditions for export/import implications
  • Identify and drive cost management and duty optimization activities
  • Liaise with third-party service providers and government agencies
About you:
  • Self-driven, highly organized, excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and liaise with external vendors, customs brokerages, and government agencies
Your experience includes:
  • US trade compliance expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 0365
  • Working with or supporting diverse teams of all levels
  • Strong systems background with ERP, SAP GTS or similar trade compliance applications
  • Strong knowledge of US Customs and Export Regulations, Harmonized Tariff Schedule, and Bureau of Industry and Security Commodity Classification List, valuation, FTA and country of origin determination
  • Bachelor's Degree and / or previous experience

You may also have:

  • Customs Broker license a plus
