CoreLogic is significantly investing in innovation projects as one of such effort is to modernize our technology platforms. We are embarking on a massive effort to transform our applications and services to be Cloud Native and also consolidate all the global data centers, AWS, Azure into Google Cloud Platform. This opportunity is for our Cloud Solutions team to help develop Cloud Native reference architecture for Database systems and help migrate workloads to GCP. CoreLogic has embraced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodology and emerging tooling to help with automation.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Database Systems Architect with experience in Open Source database technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other Cloud Native data technologies.

This position will be responsible for designing, developing, building, integrating and managing enterprise level database systems with complex interdependencies and high availability, security, performance, and scalability requirements.

Candidate will be responsible for solutioning migration of database systems from on-prem to Google Cloud Platform and also develop strategies to transform legacy database systems to Cloud Native solutions.

Job Qualifications:

  • Design, implement and maintain complex data systems with Cloud Native principles and best practices to ensure highly available, secure, performant and scalable database systems
  • Provide outcome based leadership for Cloud data related critical projectsPlan and deploy infrastructure buildout and perform data systems migrations to the cloud as needed
  • Implement security and user provisioning according to defined standards and determine the best method to satisfy security and compliance regulations
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve with complex interdependencies alongside other engineers to the best possible outcome in a timely and professional fashion

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong proficiency in deploying and managing MySQL & PostgreSQL technologies/features including replication
  • Solid hands-on experience with Cloud AWS, Azure or Google CloudCertifications in related IT, DBMS and Cloud technologies preferred
  • Good architectural knowledge of relevant OS, storage, networking, virtual machines, high availability
  • Experience in automation and infrastructure as code is highly preferable by leveraging Ansible and Terraform toolsets.
  • Familiarity with Github and Jenkins is a plus Seasoned experience and skills in leading projects such as cloud, data center migrations, server consolidation, disaster recovery failover/failback, configuration management, security, audit, and compliance
