HGA's San Francisco Architure practice group is seeking a talented, design-sensitive, ambitious professional with good people skills and lots of energy!

This position requires excellent communication, time management and technical skills as you will work closely with Senior Project Architects and Project Managers developing non-routine and complex design concepts in a manner responsive to the client's needs and deadlines. The candidate will also have opportunities for client interaction and will help our team maintain a commitment to design and quality for all types of projects.

Develops concepts according to parameters defined by Project Manager.
1. Write scope of work for architectural design based upon preliminary meetings with client
2. Maintains ongoing communication to understand any project changes, design issues or time/budget constraints that may impact initial assignment.
3. Interacts and communicates effectively and professionally with other team members
4. Utilizes past knowledge and experience to enhance the quality of product, recognizes problem issues, communicates impact to team and seeks clarity when necessary.
• Coordinates aspects of project documentation completion within company and externally with clients and other design professionals
• Promotes use of and participates in development of company design and production standards
• Prepare or review construction budgets based upon experience and scope of project
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Registration or Licensure
• Must have a minimum of eight years of experience with small to large scale healthcare projects in California, including experience designing healthcare buildings
• Software to include proficient use of: Revit and other graphic programs
