CallisonRTKL seeks a Project Designer to join its commercial mixed-use studio located in Los Angeles. This position collaborates with a diverse and creative team, dedicated to excellence in design and innovative problem solving. This position requires someone who partners with the studio lead to develop the project design.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with the studio leader to establish a planning and design vision
  • Designs mixed-use projects internationally
  • Presents design solutions internally and in consultant meetings
  • Communicates openly and embraces mentorship

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related design field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of architecture experience
  • 3+ years focused as a "project designer" in an Architect's office
  • Design experience on domestic and international, medium to large scale mixed-use projects with a focus of expertise on retail, residential and hotels
  • Mandarin reading and writing preferred
  • Visual communication skills
  • Freehand drawings skills (pencil or digital) preferred
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp or Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Submit portfolio with application
