'Manages assets independently within investment policy guidelines to achieve investment objectives. Implements investment strategies consistent with client financial goals and risk tolerance and in accordance with the investment policies/philosophies and procedures and applicable regulations. Works with research, strategy team members and other members of the portfolio teams. Will meet with clients and new business prospects to communicate investment strategy, discuss market performance and current market conditions. May serve on the investment committee. Independently implement investment strategies for more complex funds/strategies consistent with client financial goals and risk tolerance and in accordance with the investment policies/philosophies and procedures and applicable regulations. Evaluate the performance of investments, and make timey changes to a portfolio to meet investment objectives or allocation guidelines. Analyze and determine client's appropriate level of risk based on time, preferences, expectations, and market conditions. Meet with clients and new business prospects to communicate investment strategy, discuss performance, and review current market conditions. No direct reports, provide guidance to less experienced Portfolio Managers as needed. May manage a small junior team. Contributes to team/firm profitability by assuring retention and expansion of existing client relationships by contributing to superior investment performance and client services. In some regions, may serve as the primary interface for jurisdictional/regulatory matters and may have entity governance responsibilities.
MODIFIED BASED UPON LOCAL REGULATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Bachelor s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 5-7 years of total work experience preferred and 5 years or more of investment experience preferredbfor MBAs or CFAs. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business. As global firm, bi-lingual capabilities are helpful as is an understanding of local/cultural nuances important for client trust.'
