KARL STORZ is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Sales Analytics department. The Financial Analyst will report to and work closely with the Manager of Sales Analytics and Decision Support. The analyst will assist all levels of a functional area (Sales, Marketing, Service, OR1, etc.) on financial topics ranging from Financial Reporting, Business Segment Analysis, Expense Structure Analysis, and General Financial Modeling. The Financial Analyst is expected to develop relationships across the organization, be results focused, and communicate ideas effectively.

The Financial Analyst is expected to develop business acumen to question and advise management, provide insights, including trend analysis, highlight outliers, and provide explanations for changes to the budget.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Create dashboards benchmarking sales performance and tracking performance to Quota
  2. Perform detailed analysis utilizing BusinessWarehouseQueries & SAP
  3. Engage in Quarterly Business reviews with Sales and Marketing Management
  4. Build analytic dashboards using Tableau
  5. Publish,updateanddistributeMonthly,QuarterlyandAnnualreports on a timely basis.
  6. Interactwithmultiplelevels,varying financialunderstanding,anddifferent personalitiesthroughoutthecompany.
  7. Providemanagementwithrecommendationsandanalyses that supportefforts to maximize revenues andprofits.
  8. AnyandallotherdutiesasassignedbyFinance Leadership.
  9. Good communication skills and comfortable supporting business partners in Sales and Marketing,
  10. Ability to work well both independently and in teams
  11. Complywithcurrentlaws,otherregulatoryagencies,andinstitutionalandoperatingsystems.
  12. AdheretoallKSEAPoliciesandProceduresastheyapply.
  13. Protectemployeeandcustomerconfidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum education level of a Bachelor's Degree in fields such as: Business, Economics, Statistics
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Possess business acumen
  • Possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, etc...); knowledge of Access and SAP (BI). Power Pivot/Power Query, SQL & VBA familiarity a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Tableau and Power BI a Plus
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Not required, but preferred:

  • Ideal candidate would know and have worked with R- Script, Tableau, Python, and/or PowerBI.
  • An understanding of the demands of a complex, marketing-driven organization
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage within a fast-paced sales environment
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance theory and practice
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment with all levels of employees
  • Proactive ability to review and abstract information
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and task
