Tesla participates in the E-Verify Program
Run experiments and better understand the abuse tolerance of different high voltage components and systems. Use this understanding to assess hazards and collaborate in the development of hardware and firmware across a broad product line.
- Create experiments to push electrical systems to their limits
- Study the properties of electrical failures
- Root cause and recreate failure modes
- Support algorithm development and coordination of system components
- Collaborate in the design and manufacturing of future products
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or sciences, preferably Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- General electrical, thermal, and mechanical foundation
- Mechatronics/embedded systems experience, a plus
- Automotive/grid scale energy components or systems experience, a plus

$80,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
