Responsibilities

Plan and direct engineering activities for your own projects

Conduct building and fire code reviews and analyses

Design fire protection systems including fire alarm, sprinkler and special hazard systems

Prepare and present technical reports and presentations

Qualifications

B.S. Degree or higher in Engineering desirable or applicable experience

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience to include any combination of Code Consulting, Smoke Control Design and Commissioning and Fire Protection System Design

Successful candidates will have excellent report writing and interpersonal skills.

Ability to present clear and technically sound fire protection engineering strategies and have good communication and negotiating skills

PE or ability to obtain one is highly desirable

We will also consider candidates that have significant industry experience in fire protection and code consulting but are not on the engineering track
