EMI Services is hiring a Quality Manager at Marine Corps Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA.

The Quality Manager will furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, operators and other items necessary to provide recurring and non-recurring maintenance and repair services for various facilities and equipment for various facilities services at several Naval and Marine Corps Installations located in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah.

Services include Facility Management, Facility Investment, Custodial Services, Pest Control, Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping, Pavement Clearance, Chiller, and Electrical.

Maintenance requirements include Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Incidental Repairs, Service Orders, Emergency Service Orders, Urgent Service Orders, Routine Service Orders, Grounds Maintenance, Pest Control, Custodial Services, Pavement Clearance, Pool Chemical Maintenance, Corrosion Maintenance, and Vertical Transportation Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the Quality Control Plan (QCP).
  • Ensure all quality inspections and audits are completed according to the approved schedule.
  • Work with Technician, Supervisor and Operations & Maintenance Supervisor to correct deficiencies when found during inspection.
  • Review all contract deliverables before submission for completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain all quality inspection or test records.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Actively participate in all quality meetings and other meetings when directed by the Project Manager.
  • Supervise the work of the Quality Inspectors.
  • Monitor and track qualifications or credentials such as licenses, certificates, degrees or training required for all project personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced Oral, Written, and Presentation skills
Requirements
  • Must have at least five (5) years of relative experience implementing and managing a Quality Control Program, preferable on a project of similar size and scope on a DOD project.
  • Complete OSHA 30-hour construction safety class within past five (5) years
    Clearance Requirements:
    • Current U.S. Security Clearance, or ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Security Clearance
    • Will be required to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
    • Must at a minimum either have or able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC)
